Unrestored 1981 Land Rover long-wheelbase, a rare STAGE 1 model,
transitional between the 109 and 110s. A scarce Land Rover in
Europe, even rarer in here. Reported less than 100 existing in the
US. Solid, AZ rust-free Long wheelbase model in the uncommon 3dr
Panel configuration. Runs and drives well for a vintage Land Lover.
The iconic and ultra-classic Landie we all grew up with. Unexpected
expenses from wife's pregnancy force reluctant sale. 130,000
odometer miles in MPH. Odometer replaced in 2009 with a MPH unit by
Sun City Autoworks in AZ. Stored at Ft Huachuca in Sierra Vista for
the last few years. This is a 1981 model, sold new in 1981, but
logged in the US upon entry as a 1980. Owner has recently performed

overhauled Stock 3.5L V8 engine runs well, with no noises or
overheating issues of any kind. Stock dual carburetors with custom
K&N air filters. Manual transmission shifts well into all
gears. Transfer cases engage and disengage easily from the front
lever below the driver's seat; NO nonsense of having to get out in
the cold or rain to lock hubs! Replaced water pump, radiator and
some other ancillary items. RUST FREE chassis, floorboards, door
sills, wheel wells, fenders, doors, trunk floor, tailgate and rear
door. Driver's door has corrosion.
