Vehicle Description
Yes, it is a true 1957 Chevrolet Napco and is one of 30 or 35 that
were built for the US Navy / Marines. It has a Navy ID plate and a
smaller plate beside it saying Marines. Everything is new on this
truck. It has less than 700 miles on it since the ' frame off '
restoration 5 years ago. It's was not restored to 100 % original,
but it would not be hard to take it back to original, if that's
what someone wanted to do.The most significant change is that the 6
cylinder engine was built by a ' locally famous race car engine
builder ' here in this area of North Carolina. It's ' hopped up a
little ', but not to the point of being radical. It has an
Offenhauser intake with 3 ' one barrel carburetors ' on it. It has
a 4-speed manual transmission. Please Note The Following **Vehicle
