STK 2697 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Rumble Bee
In 2004 and 2005, Dodge produced its Ram pickup truck with a
distinctive yellow and black styling package reminiscent of the
1970s Dodge Super Bee. The Dodge Ram 'Rumble Bee' was a limited-
production pickup truck built only on the short-bed truck platform
in either 4x2 or 4x4 final drive options. In the two years of
production, only 8,700 of these special edition trucks were
produced. The Rumble Bee featured Dodge's most powerful Hemi at
that time. The 5.7-liter Hemi produced 345 horsepower and 375
foot-pounds of torque. These trucks were painted either yellow or
black to match the Rumble Bee emblems, and included a color-keyed
front air valance, side skirts and rear air dam, all specific only
to the Rumble Bee for those years. Our original 2005 Rumble Bee has
been very carefully maintained. Fit and finish of the exterior is
virtually showroom and the bed is covered with a full fiberglass
lid. Factory 'Rumble Bee' emblems/stripes provide the final touch.
Inside, the slate gray cloth interior has been very well
maintained. Convenience options include: power driver seat, A/C,
full instrumentation, power tinted windows, AM/FM/CD stereo, tilt
wheel, power locks and keyless entry. Other safety features: front
airbags, cruise, power steering, RWD and 4-wheel ABS power disc
brakes. Factory 20" alloys mount 275/60 Hankook radials. Despite
the performance guise, the towing and hauling capacity of the
Rumble Bee still remained unchanged from the stock Ram pickup. The
truck is rated to tow 8,500 pounds with a payload capacity of 1,500
lbs. This is a lot of truck for the money considering that any new,
highly optioned pick-up would cost you about 3-times as much. Put
