Enzo Ferrari once called the Jaguar XKE the most beautiful car in
the world. Just so has it, that many other people felt the same.
There is no doubt this is one of the most recognizable classic
sports cars in the world, not to mention they were extremely fast
and comfortable to drive. Many of you are going to question this
car being a Series II and not a III. However, there were a handful
of Series II cars built as 1971's before the complete switch to
V-12 Roadsters. This particular stunning example is finished in BRG
over Black which was stock as indicated on the Heritage
Certificate. I have done some research and I cant find many black
interior Roadsters that were born that way. This car was restored
in California about twenty years ago and still shows very well. The
interior is fabulous as is the convertible top and tonneau. The
original engine and transmission are in great smooth running
condition. The paint and wire wheels shine up exactly like they
should as well. We did notice a little fit issue with the rear
trunk that appears to be a adjustment as the metal does not appear
to be out of line. The car has had just three owners from new, all
of them being long term with what we can tell having excellent
storage and care. I have personally driven this car and it starts,
runs, shifts, brakes and handles like a Jaguar should. The car
comes with receipts, both sets of keys, tonneau cover and Heritage
Certificate. Please do not hesitate to inquire.
