For Sale: 1969 Superformance MKI in Irvine, California
*Superformance GT40P2321 is a Right Hand Drive MKI Body Style GT40
painted in 1969 Gulf Livery. This build was done to replicate the
back to back LeMans Champ P1075.
*The Original Owner ordered his Superformance GT40 MKI with the
extra wide body option with RHD. With 13" wide wheels with AVON
historic hand grooved tires gives this GT40 the correct stance. It
also features the 1969 P1075 Decal set with numbers and sponsor
stickers. This GT40 was ordered with 4 painted roundels with the
period correct roundel light s that shine onto the doors and rear
clam roundels. For more aggressive aerodynamics P2321 had Front
Canards and Rear Unpainted Lip Spoiler (Gurney tab) added.
*GT40P2321 was order with a Shelby Aluminum 289 Crate Engine. It
was punched out to 364 cubic inches and makes over 500HP. For the
period correct finish it was topped with 4 Weber Carburetors. A
brass capped 5 Speed Manual Quaife Transaxle completes this
beautiful drivetrain that is as much show as it is go.
*Every Superformance GT40 is stamped with a Continuation P Series
Chassis Number along the line of the original Prototype Series
GT40's of the 60's. Superformance GT40's are also eligible for the
Shelby World Registry.
*GT40P2321 was completed as a collector and has never been driven
on the street and has never been registered. Ready for her next
owner.
*In its current condition, GT40P2321 is available for $228,015.
