Vehicle Description
1960 Chevrolet Corvette
One of the most successful vehicles ever produced has to be the
Corvette from Chevrolet. Known by many as "America's Sports Car"
these vehicles whether classic or modern and brand new are
extremely popular. This 1960 Vette belongs to the C1 generation
which many regard as their favorite body style. It is a really nice
looking classic that runs just as good as it looks. The original
restoration took place in the late 80s/early 90s and is a car that
has been slowly improved with time. It is an original White/Red
color combo car and has had at least 1 repaint in its life. All of
the chrome/trim pieces have a nice shine and are in great shape.
The glass is in good shape as well. The car rides on its original
wheels/hubcaps and are wrapped in wide white wall tires.

The drivetrain on the car has been redone with a 327 V8 motor. The
block is out of a 1969 Camaro and it has a 283 crank. Prior to
being installed the motor was totally rebuilt. The engine
compartment has a nice clean look and the motor is dressed up with
a chrome air cleaner and finned Corvette valve covers. The engine
is paired with a 4 speed manual transmission that moves through the
gears smoothly. The car comes with a lot of receipts for parts and
work done to it over the years. It is very well maintained and the
type of vehicle that if it ever needs anything, it gets done. For
instance a new gas tank and all new fuel lines were just installed.
It is a great driving car and starts up smoothly. It doesn't smoke
and is a very fun car to cruise around in. Aftermarket front disc
brakes have also been added for extra stopping power.
The interior is done in Red and has been replaced. The upholstery
and carpet are all in excellent condition. Everything has been done
in the stock original style. It has all of the factory dash
components like the gauges, knobs, switches, and even the AM radio.
In front of the driver sits the original steering wheel and on the
floor a Hurst shifter. The trunk of the car offers plenty of extra
storage space and has been kept clean and simple with a nice Red
mat.
These old Corvettes are quite collectable and show no sign of that
changing in the future. They are a staple in many car collections
and are without a doubt an piece of American Automotive
history.
