This 1926 Dodge Brothers Roadster has a great color combination and
authentic details to be the ideal showpiece of any garage.
The Dodge Brothers gained a reputation for sturdy cars, but nearly
a century later, this one really has the look of sophistication. It
starts with the paint. The burgundy and black two-tone is a great
color combo that has the kind of gloss you want in a sunny-day
roadster. All the details like the wood-spoke wheels, running
boards, and the skinny two-piece windshield will always bring out
the vintage style. The car was given a full restoration at least
once in its lifetime, and so not only do you get the shine on the
bumpers and grille surround, but also the body retains good
fundamentals like the well-fitting doors. And there are terrific
Dodge Brothers details, like the badging, headlights, and step
plates.
As a true roadster, you are meant to be open to the world. That's
why this is done with such care. The exterior burgundy is continued
in the metal pieces, and the black bench seat coordinates with the
black fenders for a uniform look inside and out. The large
four-spoke steering wheel, genuine glossy wood floor boards, floor
starter, and a spotlight on the windshield pillar really deliver a
classic motoring experience that will delight your senses.
Under the hood is an inline-four motor that's ideal for vintage car
fans. Many items, like the manifold, water pump, copper lines, and
the red hoses are quite correct, so you can really show it off with
pride. And these Dodges were also meant for driving. The 212
cubic-inch motor is rated well above the Model T at around 35 hp.
And more importantly, the high torque and three-speed manual
transmission make this a true touring car. In fact, with this level
of maintenance and a restored radiator, this is the roadster ready
for those who understand the appeal of true classic motoring.
There's something special about a car like this. You'll love it for
everything from parades to Sunday drives. So you know you need to
act fast if you want it to be yours. Call today!!!
