Vehicle Description
A terrific full red package, full custom interior, upgraded V8
power, four-wheel disc brakes, six-speed, and plenty of Corvette
upgrades.. Oh yes, 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Restomod is an awesome
total package.
This one really loves to tell people it's something special from
every angle. It all starts with the paint. Red is always a bold
choice, but this one has an added metallic element for extra
radiance in the sunlight. The iconic front end continues to have a
big shine on the bumper/grille combo you know so well. But now
there's extra attitude from the addition of features like HID
headlights and metal bullet-nose metal caps on the Dagmars. Plus,
the rear's clean and classic look is updated with LED taillights.
And the profile absolutely gives the proper restomod looks. After
all, the iconic fan-style tailfin trim has been given custom red
accenting. Plus, the 17-inch Corvette alloys give this a modern
stance and hint at the inspiration for other upgrades.
One look inside, and you can instantly tell this is a restomod that
will leave you wanting for nothing. The bucket seats up front have
a Recaro-style setup for terrific bolstering. They are covered in
supple leather and even have a cool silver Chevrolet insert in the
seatbacks. This coordinates with the rear seats and custom door
panels to deliver an award-worthy and comfortable total package.
And speaking of comfort, you have great upgrade like a cup holder
center console, provisions for R134a air conditioning, and a
AM/FM/CD receiver with full subwoofer stereo system (check out the
amplifier's custom enclosure in the trunk.) The red and chrome
steering wheel is on a tilt column, so you get an excellent view of
the sleek dash and full Dakota Digital gauge upgrade. All of this
gets you ready for what's under the hood.
The engine bay instantly conveys both custom and powerful. This has
a terrific look with the March Performance billet air topper,
bright valve covers, polished master cylinder, and upgraded pulleys
and brackets. Plus, there are red LED lights to showcase it all.
You even have the right supporting components like the MSD
ignition, steel braided lines, and aluminum radiator. The 350
cubic-inch V8 is built for power with upgrades like the four-barrel
carburetor, hi-rise intake, and headers feeding the sweet-sounding
dual exhaust. You get to take full advantage of this enhanced power
and its soundtrack thanks to the Tremec six-speed manual
transmission. Plus, you'll see more Corvette-inspired details
underneath the car when you spot the C4-style independent front
suspension and four-wheel power disc brakes. Add in power steering
and grippy Goodyear Eagle F1 tires, and this Bel Air delivers both
power and poise.
