1990 BMW 325is

The current BMW logo is said to be inspired from the circular design of a rotating aircraft propeller. The white and blue checker boxes are supposed to be a stylized representation of a white/silver propeller blade spinning against a clear blue sky.

For consignment a BMW that was used as a daily driver for a while the neatly tucked away in a garage until recently left out of its cage and driven on an intermittent basis. Consigner states it is the original exterior paint, and interior is the same...original.

Exterior
Alpineweiss is the exterior which has straight steel panels. A few dents and dings and a scrape on the bumper area, but overall good condition. Black trim abounds and contrasts to the white, and it shows a few chips and scratches in various places. A thin duo of pinstripes wraps itself around the car and has areas of where it has worn off. A small rear spoiler is atop the rear decklid, and snowflake magnesium BMW badged wheels are all around.

Interior
Karmesinrot (red) leather in nicely preserved condition covers the buckets in front and the rear bench. This is also seen on the door panels which remain in good shape. An original black dash integrates with a center console which is all in very clean and shiny condition with just a few scratches. Carpet is good as is headliner above which shows a sunroof in the center.

Drivetrain
A 2.5 Liter Inline 6-cylinder engine is in an unrestored engine bay. It has Bosch Motronic EFI and a 4-speed automatic transmission.

Undercarriage
All strong and sturdy rust-free underneath. McPherson struts are the font suspension and a semi trailing arm is on the back. Power disc brakes are all around.

Drive-Ability
A quick starter, smooth runner and good driver. This car has some mileage on it but still runs tight.

Overall a nicely preserved used BMW 325is. A few scratches and dings throughout, nice red interior in leather, and a smooth-running engine.
