Vehicle Description
This custom Cameo features a body-off restoration that includes the
hood receiving a pie cut 7/8-inches at the front, and not at the
cowl to flow with the tops of the fenders. It's powered by a
Chevrolet 427ci V8 4-bolt main engine with square port heads,
custom cowl air cleaner, and mated to a Turbo 400 3-speed automatic
transmission that features a 1957 Oldsmobile posi-traction rear end
and 3:23 gears. This Cameo has 800 miles since completion. It's
riding on No Limit rear coilovers and four-bar suspension, and the
original frame was used with a front suspension from Industrial
Chassis Company using Dakota components. It also features power
disc brakes and power rack & pinion steering, 1959 Chevy Suburban
fuel tank and inner wheel tubs. This custom Cameo features American
Racing T70 wheels, NOS taillights, narrowed 1969 C10 seats with
1955 Nomad pattern, one-off functional cowl induction system and
custom exhaust.
