Vehicle Description
Powered by a 302/290hp V8 engine and 4-speed manual transmission.
Additional options include 3.91 Traction-Lok rear end, power
steering, power brakes with front discs, front and rear spoilers,
and rear window slats. Finished in Wimbledon White with blue
standard vinyl interior, an AM radio, 15x7 Magnum 500 wheels
wearing Goodyear polyglas tires. Factory V-code 3.91 Traction-Lok
rear end. Introduced in April 1969 as Ford's answer to the Camaro
Z/28, the Boss 302 also homologated a Cleveland-head 302ci engine
for Trans Am racing. Like all boss 302s, the sportsroof is equipped
with the Mustang's high-performance equipment, like 4-speed
transmission, 9-inch rear end, competition suspension with
staggered rear shocks, power brakes with front discs and 15-inch
Magnum 500 wheels with Goodyear Polyglas tires. Few options were
offered for 1969, but this one has several, including 3.91
Traction-Lok axle, power steering, blue interior, fold-down rear
seat, adjustable rear wing and rear window slats. The Boss 302
engine with 290hp is nicely detailed with the correct decals and
factory emissions system.
