This 1973 Chevrolet C10 custom pickup is powered by a GM
Performance Parts 502ci big-block V8 engine with 4-bolt mains, 615
solid-lift camshaft and a Holley 750cfm carburetor topped by a
polished-aluminum air cleaner. It features stainless-steel fuel
lines with aircraft fittings, MSD distributor, 6AL ignition module
with Blaster 2 Coils, polished alloy alternator and a 3hp
mini-starter. An Aeromotive high-flow fuel pump with steel braided
lines is featured. The electrical wiring loom is bundled in the
engine compartment. Hooker Headers and a custom dual exhaust system
have been installed. The horsepower is handled by a Turbo 400
3-speed automatic transmission with a shift kit, 4000 stall
converter, Hurst pistol-grip quarter stick shifter and a 12-bolt
3rd member with 3:73 gears. An aluminum radiator with
stainless-steel radiator cooling lines and automatic dual electric
fans keeps the engine cool. It also features an under-bed-mounted
aluminum battery box with a master kill switch and dual Interstate
batteries. This pickup is custom-fitted with a 1984 Chevrolet
Silverado front clip. It has new shock absorbers, new front disc
pads and turned rotors. It also includes power steering, power
windows and power locks. The exterior is finished in 1999 Nissan
Brilliant Blue. This C10 includes a custom grille, custom
fiberglass hood and new doorjamb rubber seals. It features a custom
bed cover with sculptured carpeting in the bed, bed sides and
tailgate. The custom interior is finished in black with sculptured
carpet in the headliner, and it features Chevrolet Bowtie lights,
Silverado bucket seats, tilt GT Grant billet and aluminum padded
steering wheel, billet dash, billet door inserts and billet pedals.
It rides on American Racing Torq Thrust wheels.
