This is a numbers matching 1950 Buick Special Deluxe 4 Door that has been in the family for the past 30 years. This car was originally Black with Black/Grey interior. This is a survivor car- mechanically maintained with limited cosmetic restoration. Rocker panels have imperfections and door alignment needs adjustment. The car is straight with no signs of body or frame damage. Floor panels are rust free but have been replaced- underbody has cosmetic rust one would expect for a 70 year old car. Front bumper and grille are in original condition with pitting. Interior of the car is original with the exception of new carpet. Brake drums, lines, master cylinder etc all in working condition with recent service. Glass is all original to this car- there is a small crack in lower windshield as shown in photo. EXTERIOR: The car was repainted in 1989 to its current color, white. There are paint flaws but still a gorgeous car that turns heads. All trim is present and in good condition. Rear bumper is also in need of re-chroming. INTERIOR: Seat covers, and door panels are in good condition, headliner shows discoloration with no tears. Carpet is new and in good condition. Dash paint is original with signs of age and minor cosmetic rust. Dash lights are operable, fuel gauge works however needs new sending unit as level is stuck on full. Headlights, fog lights, brakelights, turn signals, reverse lights and spotlight all working. Heater and all controls operable. Radio does not work. Temperature gauge does not work but have a working NOS gauge to be installed. Gas gauge is working but needs new fuel sending unit. Trunk lining has been replaced and in good condition- original jack and matching spare tire present. MECHANICAL: Engine and dynaflow transmission are both in good shape. The engine has great oil pressure and runs cool. No leaks from engine or transmission present. Whitewalls are in great shape with 8/32” tread. The only modification to this car is the ignition switch has been changed to push button rather the carburetor switch. Ownership records available dating back to 1969. Service records are available from 1988 - Present.
