Vehicle Description
Lot #154-1966 Chevrolet Nova SS Pro-Touring. A professional
frame-off nut and bolt rebuild/restoration was completed with a
total disregard for the cost of the build. The seller states that
this car started out as an original true Super Sport optioned Nova.
It has a complete Bill Mitchell-built "Hardcore" 454 CI small block
V-8 engine that was Dyno-ed at just over 600 horsepower. It has a
fully custom-built performance exhaust system and a "Front Runner"
serpentine drive system. It's coupled to a Tremac T56 5-speed
manual transmission with a McLeod Racing hydraulic clutch. The
suspension was replaced with a complete "C4" coil over system
(front and rear), power rack and pinion steering and rear
independent suspension. It also has power 4-wheel disc brakes. The
custom "Schott Accelerator" wheels are wrapped in 225/35/18 radials
in the front and 285/30/19's in the rear. Comfort features include
updated entertainment system, Detroit Speed wipers, and vintage
heat and air conditioning. The Victory Red exterior and full custom
saddle tan interior make a striking package. The seller says that
this is the ultimate touring car that can be driven anywhere at any
speed in comfort.
