Vehicle Description
This Camaro was originally sold at Nickey Chevrolet in Chicago and
has been updated with a 427/425hp engine with 512 casting ZL1
aluminum GM heads, 163 intake, L88 solid-lifter cam and forged
pistons. The power is handled by an M21 close-ratio Muncie 4-speed
manual transmission, 660 casting, with a 12-bolt multi-leaf 3.55
posi rear-end (casting 3894860NF). This Nickey sold Camaro comes
with its original certified documents and the factory-original GM
Window Sticker. It includes the factory original GM Protect-O-Plate
and the NCRS certificate showing the selling dealer as Nickey
Chevrolet Sales, Inc., of Chicago, IL. Jerry MacNeish of Camaro
Hi-Performance inspected the car and issued it with a certificate
of authenticity stating its original engine was powered by an LF7
327ci engine and transmission M20 4-speed from the factory and
dealership and that the window sticker, Protect-O-Plate and
warranty booklet are original. This Camaro received a frame-off,
rotisserie, nut-and-bolt, 2-1/2-year restoration. It features a
factory-correct restoration with correct cast and phosphate parts,
GM hoses, tower clamps and NOS parts. The exterior color was
changed from Fathom Green to Tuxedo Black during the restoration.
