Mechanical
The 5.0 liter EFI V8 under the hood is stout. It starts with a 1988
Ford 302 block that has been completely rebuilt to performance
specs and bored out to a 306 cubic inch engine. It has a list of
parts on it including 5.0 Qualifier upper and lower polished
intake, ram air system, GT 40 heads, 3.8.1 roller rocker arms, 303
cam, Ford Racing 24 lb injectors, BBK headers, Diablo Sport Custom
Dyno tune, MSD components including a 6AL Box with Rev control, and
more.
This engine has been built to take a blower if you want to add
one!
It rolls with a reworked 5-speed transmission, Heavy Duty 3.73 rear
end and gears, Mickey Thompson tires, on racing wheels, with
lowered rolled rear fenders too.
Interior
Our GT has a beautiful grey cloth twin bucket seat interior in
absolutely fantastic condition. The dash has the great factory
gauges, fingertip controls for headlights, factory steering wheel,
the stock interior door panels and carpeting, center armrest and
ashtray door, factory A/C, power mirrors, interval wipers, white
5-speed shifter ball on the console shifter, and an AM/FM stereo
radio unit in the dash.
The hatch area is big enough for just about anything, with
fold-down seats and a retractable cargo cover to keep your baggage
safe.
Exterior
The GT hatchback in an appealing maroon with a great overall
condition. The factory urethane ground effects give the GT its
sinister look are in excellent condition as is trim, and
badging.
A front and rear spoiler set this GT apart from the rest of the
Mustangs and the sound tells you this is one quick Stang.
