For sale beautiful 1971 Plymouth HEMI 'Cuda recreation. Upgraded with a HEMI Mopar Performance 472 crate motor. This car has an automatic 727 transmission and posi rear end. Car is a rust free California car that is a heavily optioned two tag factory car. This Cuda was restored with its original factory appearance and options in mind. Detailed undercarriage.
ENGINE & DRIVETRAIN
This car was born a big block 383 cu in. engine. Now it is equipped with a 472 HEMI. This motor was just completely gone through. (see photo of receipt of work that was done). Newcomb hemispherical dual quad carb set up blue printed and rejetted. OEM dual quad intake and correct black wrinkle valve covers. TTI ceramic coated headers, 3 in exhaust with H-pipe. Rear axle is original 8 3/4 with 323 POSI. 727 Transmission with a 3000 stall converter. All under the hood components have been restored or replaced to orginal appearance and specs. VERY tidey engine bay. Complete Shaker hood and air cleaner assembly installed and functions as original.
PAINT & BODY
Painted to its original color EV2 Tor Red and is in excellent condition with few minor flaws. White vinyl top in excellent condition also. This is an original white billboard car and they too are in great condition. Underbody is painted and original to the car and rust free. Body panels appear to be original. Factory option elastomeric bumpers, front spoilers, rear spoiler wing, front painted grill and dual racing mirrors are in excellent condition. Factory optioned with fender optics, hood pins with lanyards, road lights. All chrome in like new condition. All glass is in great shape and windows operate as they should.
INTERIOR
Very unique bright orange hounds tooth cloth/vinyl seats, headliner, dashboard, door panels, package tray, carpet, console, gauge cluster, lap belts and shoulder harnesses all restored to perfection. Factory AM/FM radio was rebuilt with modern electronics 45W/channel and 6 disc changer in the trunk. Factory A/C car with rotary compressor mounted under the alternator to keep it as correct appearing with the HEMI as possible Factory A/C car,. Air blows ice cold. Heater in proper working condition. Cuda has factory steering wheel with rim blow horn. Under dash air grabber control works as it should.
SUSPENSION
Original rear sway bar, KYB shock absorbers painted black. Front suspension is completely rebuilt with all new components and urethane bushings, Steer and Gear ultra firm feel steering box.
WHEELS & BRAKES
Wheels are 15x7-245/60/15 front & 15x8-265/60/15 rear Rallye wheels. Power front disc brakes have less than 5000 miles on them and brake evenly. Trunk is highly detailed with correct jack, inflatable space saver spare and canister and trunk mat. Taillight panel mounted disc player.
