1966 Buick Wildcat sedan
The technical name for this "hopped" up 4 door is a Wildcat Deluxe thin pillar sedan.
Unfortunately we don't know much of the history on this car. It was purchased because the 401 Nailhead big block emptying out through a true dual exhaust just sounded so freekin awesome. The car has been enjoyed over the past summer and now is time to be off to another owner.
The 401 Buick Nailhead engine is a 1965 and puts out roughly 335 HP and 425 lb/ft. That WILL motivate this 4 door rather quickly if it doesn't tear up the tires first.
Yeah, its a 4 door. That means that you'll be able to get the same performance of GS for a third of the price. This car is a solid ten footer. She looks great and is an awesome cruiser. When you get up close and start poking around you'll notice a couple of blemishes here and there, some can be polished out, some, like the degraded front driver side seat, or the cracked dash pad will need a little more attention. She is very solid, rust free and comes equipped with power steering, power brakes (4 wheel vented drum) and has the under dash set up for AC, however, there is no compressor on the replacement engine. The odometer shows 104,000 miles but it is unknown the actual miles on the engine.
The new paint is a very close match to original Saddle Green metallic and the interior is the original Fawn cloth and vinyl, which is very stylish.
She starts up easily and drives great. This is just a really great way to get into the collector car world for very cheap.
