This is a three owner truck that was raised in IL for most of it's life before coming to it's new home here in CT.
This truck has been VERY well taken care of and was ordered up with a lot of options.
I can't find evidence of a repaint and the paint thickness meter shows the thickness of .01-.02, which is normal for original paint; if this isn't original, this truck was stripped to bare metal and repainted. The paint is in show quality condition.
The Big 10 option was in essence a slightly better 1/2 ton truck, with a GVW of 6050 lbs., however the biggest reason many purchased the Big 10 (and why Chevrolet offered it) was to bypass the new, rather strict emission laws implemented in 1975. This LS9 optioned 350 4 bbl truck has no catalytic converter (it would really wake up with a nice dual exhaust...).
Aside from the LS9 option, this truck was ordered and still has: A/C, tinted windows, cruise control, tilt wheel, PS, PB (front disc, rear drum), dual gas tanks, intermittent wipers, dual, large mirrors, Heavy Duty chassis, Heavy Duty springs (F&R) buckskin special interior (tan velour, bench seat), front stabilizer bar, deluxe 2 tone paint and bright trim wheels.
The odometer shows 107,000 miles but the engine was rebuilt by a previous owner. It has a matching brown metallic cap and comes with a full sized spare with matching rim/trim ring. Other previous owner added items include the large step rear bumper, the side steps and the front bug deflector.
This truck is nearly flawless. There is a small crack in the paint on the right side door seam and a small section of the grill is missing.
The truck starts and runs great and I'd have no second thoughts of firing it up and hooking up a trailer and driving cross country with it.
It is rare to see a work truck like this one in such pristine condition. It is with that in mind that the asking price is $13,900
Any questions, to schedule a time to see it in person, for many more photos and video or to make an offer, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thanks for the interest.
