This is an "Absolutely Gorgeous" 66 Chevelle SS 396 that has had a frame off restoration on a very clean, mostly original body panel car, done in a Bolero Red base coat clear coat wet sanded and wheeled smooth, slick as glass, straight as on arrow, new tinted windshield - all other glass is original factory tint in very good condition, front and rear window stainless is original in excellent condition, new weather stripping and window felts, re-chromed front and rear bumpers, new emblems, new grill trim, new tail panel moldings and tail light bezels, new correct bow tie side view mirrors, new wheel well trim, lower rocker moldings have also been replaced.
Factory black bucket seat console interior, original dash in very good condition, radio delete - has a pair of gauges nicely mounted within, rare tilt steering with correct SS Chevelle wheel, new headliner, front and rear seat covers have also been replaced, front and rear seat belts, new door panels, factory 4 speed original console in excellent condition, new carpet with floor mats, new sill plates.
Under the hood we have a period correct 396 that has had a complete rebuild, Comp cam, roller rockers, aluminum Edelbrock intake, Holley dual feed 4 barrel carb, updated with electronic ignition, period correct aluminum valve covers, chrome breather, billet aluminum pulleys, heavy duty radiator with shroud and 6 blade fan, billet aluminum overflow recovery tank, power steering, nicely updated with power front disc brakes, Wilwood master cylinder, front suspension has been completely rebuilt, exhaust manifolds into 2 1/2 inch mandrel bent dual exhaust out the back with chrome tips, this strong running 396 is backed up with a Muncie M21 4 speed, Hurst Competition Plus shifter, 12 bolt posi rear end with 323 gear.
