Vehicle Description
Cruisin' Classics is proud to present to you this 1955 Pontiac
Safari Wagon. You'll notice that the roof line resembles a Nomad.
That is because this was Pontiac's version of the Nomad. This 55'
appears as if it was restored many years ago. It is showing age
around the edges. Driver quality paint make this the perfect
driver. The drivetrain appears to be original but there are no
serial number stamps visible. The engine and transmission both
function but you can tell that they have some age to them. This car
has some very rare options, such as power windows, air conditioning
(non-operable), power brakes and power steering. The interior is in
driver shape. No rips or tears present. The carpet looks as if it
has been replaced at one point in time as well. Let's dive a little
further into this rare wagon. The mileage is 29,934 and is NOT

would be a good driving project for someone wanting a Nomad but
doesn't want to spend 35k for a starter. We encourage you to look
thru the pictures of this car, to get a better feel of what it is.
This is not a show car, although it is quite a rare find. The
paint, and interior could use freshening up if you're wanting to
show the car. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact
