Vehicle Description
STK 2699 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge Tribute
The GTO remains one of the most popular muscle cars of all time.
The Gen II 'Goat' was larger than the original version, but a much
better all-around car. Our 1969 Pontiac began life as a Lemans
convertible (code 3767) and received a total GTO 'Judge'
restoration in 2018-2019. Every detail is done to perfection -
check out the photos. The owner has provided a binder of
documentation including the original factory build sheet. The
beautiful 2-stage Torch Red finish looks better than any showroom
model and the black power top is in excellent condition. (New Ames
Performance rear quarters were installed prior to final
preparation.) Ridler 5-spoke 18" polished alloys, a hood-mounted
tach, new rear bumper, new stainless, a rear-deck spoiler and
'Judge' accents complete the exterior. The black vinyl bucket seat
interior has also been fully restored and is in better-than-new
condition. It is equipped with retro AM/FM/Bluetooth stereo, new
Rallye gauge package and tinted windshield. Under the hood is a
built/balanced Pontiac 455ci motor that is 'Judicial'. It is a 1970
Poncho block fitted with H-beam rods, aluminum 10:1 pistons,
'street' cam, Edelbrock aluminum heads, roller rockers and bee-hive
valve springs. The single plane aluminum intake mounts a double
pumper Holley 4-barrel and exhaust is routed through Hooker ceramic
headers to a custom 3" stainless system w/crossover pipes and
electric cutouts. Cooling is managed by a 4-core aluminum radiator
and the 455 is backed by a Muncie M-22 'rock crusher' 4-speed
manual transmission with Hurst CompPlus shifter. The 12-bolt
positraction differential houses 3.55:1 gears. Suspension upgrades
include front/rear sway bars, HD coil springs, new power steering
box, 4-wheel power disc brakes and 245/45R-18 Sumitumo/Ohtsu
Performance radial tires. Summit Racing also supplied a new wiring
harness. If you purchase an original GTO, you will not go wrong.
However, they have experienced a dramatic price rise in the last
decade. True, this 'Tribute' car is not an original, but you don't
have to remortgage the house to buy it and you can drive it on
Saturday night. The owner of this 'Judge' is ready to pass it on to
the next 'Poncho' caretaker - maybe that should be you. ALL
VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
