Vehicle Description
A full nut-and-bolt rotisserie restoration completed in 2019 by
Healey Lane Restorations in Oregon. It's powered by a 2912cc
6-cylinder engine and a 5-speed manual transmission. The complete
drivetrain was rebuilt, along with a new highly polished alloy
valve cover and stainless steel exhaust system. The exterior is Ice
Green Metallic, a color that was used on some Austin-Healey's
including NOJ 391, a special test car that raced at Le Mans. The
interior is Biscuit leather and vinyl with Wilton wool carpet over
a matching biscuit top, top cover, and Stayfast tonneau cover. A
new walnut burl dash and wood steering wheel complete the beautiful
interior. All gauges were rebuilt. All original fasteners,
brackets, linkage, are plated in correct bright zinc. Many parts
including most of suspension parts, brackets and top frame were
powder-coated for durability. Any parts that needed to be painted
used high-grade PPG paint and primer/sealer. All hydraulics are new
including steel and rubber lines. All the electrical system is
either new or rebuilt and includes a new wiring harness and
alternator upgrade. The chrome has either been re-chromed or is
new. The windshield and door glass are new. The suspension was
taken off the car, disassembled and new parts were used in the
assembly. All four shocks were rebuilt and new rear springs were
installed. All rubber parts are new. There are five new 60-spoke
chrome wheels with SS soles and five matching tires. An upgraded
rack & pinion steering system was installed along with an electric
fan. Driving lights were installed for enjoyable night driving.
This Austin-Healey includes driver's handbook, wheel hammer, top
and tonneau storage bags.
