This 1981 Mercedes 380SL has 80,020 miles on it. It is silver over
blue and powered by a 3.8L V8 engine with a 4-speed automatic
transmission. It has 2 tops. The hardtop paint is a contrasting
blue and the soft top is older but in good condition. The tires are
good but dated 2008. The interior is in generally good condition
with wear as expected for its age and mileage. The center console
wood has no cracks. The exterior paint is good, the pinstriping has
a few boo boos. There are some small dents and rusting areas as
shown in photo gallery. There is rust in the left rocker panel. The
jack points are solid, as are the floors and chassis. The chassis
and exhaust are surface rusted, nothing serious. The car has been
sitting for 2 years, but it starts, runs, drives and stops very
well. It has passed a recent New York state inspection. This car
came into the current owner's shop in April of 2017. During that
repair, the motor received a new double roller timing chain,
guides, tensioners, a complete timing gear set, new gaskets,
thermostat, distributor shaft, and engine mounts. A new alternator
predated that repair by a month. After authorizing the work, the
previous owner refused to pay the bill. The current owner now has a
clean title as Georgica Services, Ltd and is selling the car to
cover the repair and costs. Please Note The Following **Vehicle
