Vehicle Description
1969 Pontiac Firebird Convertible for Sale. Mustangs and Camaros
are considered the Pony Cars of the era. Seldom remembered is
Camaro's counterpart, the Pontiac Firebird. Not seen as often at
local Car Shows and Cruise In's as the Camaro, but sure to turn
heads as you come rumbling into any event! This beautiful
Convertible is powered by a 350 Cu In V8 remaining fairly stock
with dual exhaust. It's equipped with automatic transmission, power
steering, power disc brakes and a contrasting black power soft top.
From the tight fitting chrome front bumper through to the rear deck
lid spoiler, this car captures your attention. A straight body,
good margins and a great fit of the glass to the top when it's up
indicates it has received excellent care. Finished in Code 73
Verdoro Green with a color coordinated comfort weave bucket seat
interior. It also has a simulated wood grain center console, floor
shifter, and Panasonic stereo cassette completing the interior.
Both engine and trunk are detailed, and the correct Convertible
counter weight cocktail shakers (body dampers) are in the corners
of the trunk. Clear glass, great rear taillight lenses, weather
stripping and window felts are all in great shape and reflect a
fairly recent restoration. The car is further complemented by a
working hood tach to keep the driver informed of the engine's
performance. An additional item rarely seen is a jack and Inflate-A
Spare with cannister. This will make any car show judge take notice
as they are not easily come by! The car rolls on a set Forged
Wheels carrying 225/40ZR18's on the front and a 255/35ZR 20" on the
rear giving the car an aggressive "Power Tour " Look. Whether
you're looking for a car you can show or just enjoy cruising in,
you need to take a look at this remarkable Firebird!
