Vehicle Description
In honor of NASCAR legend Richard Petty's No. 43, Kelderman
produced several of these special-edition trucks each year,
starting with a brand-new RAM 2500 pickup and customizing it with
the best parts available. This truck is owned by Kelderman and is
one of the prototypes for the program. What began as a 2018 RAM
2500 Laramie has transformed into the Petty Garage-Kelderman
creation you see here. The truck has been hand-crafted by Kelderman
Air Suspension, a legendary custom truck builder for nearly 30
years, and the world-famous Petty's Garage. It is a one-off version
and the only 2018 model-year truck produced. The truck has a 6-inch
Kelderman Air Suspension lift kit that is adjustable down to a
1-inch lift or up to a 9-inch lift using an in-cab controller.
Custom valve Fox 2.0 Shocks provide a smooth ride, while the air
suspension automatically adjusts to the weight of trailers and
cargo. Custom 20-inch Fuel Off-Road wheels have the Kelderman &
Petty Garage logos, while 37x13.50R20 General Grabber tires make
sure the power from the supercharged 6.4-liter V8 HEMI engine gets
to the ground. Custom Kelderman front and rear bumpers allow for
Rigid Industries LED lights to bright up the road at night and
protect the truck front and rear. Lights are controlled inside the
cab by a custom SPOD switch panel. The truck has MagnaFlow exhaust
designed specifically for this Ram. All chrome was removed from the
truck and the Ram now features a complete factory white, Petty Blue
and matte black paint scheme. Custom headlights feature the
legendary Petty Blue accents, as well as the fully painted emblems
on the hood and truck bed. CARFAX shows an FCA US LLC manufacturer
