For Sale: 1956 Beck Speedster in Alpharetta, Georgia

Vehicle Description

BEAUTIFUL, BECK 1956 PORSCHE 356 SPEEDSTER REPLICA IN MERLOT WITH WHISKEY TAN INTERIOR...JUST 3500 MILES ON THE 1915 CC DUAL CARB. MOTOR, FRONT DISC BRAKES AND ICE COLD AIR CONDITIONING.....READY TO SHOW AND GO!!!

This 356 Speedster replica was hand built by one of the premier builders of these cars. Beck has building these cars for over 30 years and the high resale values on their cars is a testament to their reputation and quality.  Unlike some other versions, Beck builds a custom chassis and does not use a VW pan.  This particular car was built about 10 years ago and was ordered by a dealership in Florida. Thus, the are Air conditioning option. After the original owner in Florida it went to Charleston, SC and then back to another owner in Florida where I purchased it and had it shipped via an enclosed trailer to me in the Atlanta, GA area. This beautiful speedster has only accumulated about 3500 miles ( odometer/speedometer is actually in KM on this one).  The gentleman I purchased it from drove it home to Tampa, FL from Charleston SC when he bought it and enjoyed showing it off at local car shows and cruise ins. He had an order in for a 2020 Corvette and needed the garage space so this beauty is now ready for its next lucky owner, maybe you?!! I will do my best to provide enough large images, a video so you can hear it running, and an honest description to help you decide if this one belongs in your garage. I am also a transport broker and assist in getting you a great rate on Enclosed Transport anywhere in the country. I also welcome overseas buyers and can assist in getting the car to the port of your choice.

The handled fiberglass body looks great overall and the Merlot finish is a beautiful color on this car that looks brighter in the sunlight and takes on a darker tone at night or in the shade.  With only about 3500 miles on it this car was pampered by previous owners and always garage kept. There some very minor rock chips that have been touched up but overall paint and body look great. The body panel fit on these Beck builds is great and the doors open and shut more like a newer Porsche.  A nice set of driving lights sit atop the front bumper. Chrome and stainless trim all looks great.  You should get an idea how nice this car is from the walk around photo tour and the video.

Complimenting the gorgeous, vintage, Merlot exterior is an equally impressive Whiskey Tan leather interior. Seats are in great condition and very comfortable. 3-point seat belts for driver and passenger. Tan carpeting in great condition with just minor wear by the accelerator pedal. Nice set of Beck matching floor mats. Air conditioning is neatly mounted below the dash for a very clean look and great for those living in the warmer climates.  Nardi look woodgrain steering wheel with Porsche emblem horn button looks great. I believe these should be driven with the top down as much as possible but of course there is a sweet looking whiskey tan soft top with matching window inserts that were never used. Matching boot cover for when the top is down.  Original style gauges with the Speedometer/odometer reading in Kilometers. Currently there are just under 5500 km, or just under 3500 miles on the car. Door panels with nice chrome door pulls and document pockets. Interior is in overall great condition.

As cool as these cars are to look at, they are equally as fun to drive.
With just under 3500 miles on this 1915 cc dual carbureted motor it has just been broken in and pulls strong through all 4 gears and will cruise on the highway at 75 mph with ease thanks to the 3.88 Freeway flyer gearing in the transmission As you will see the engine compartment looks great as you would expect. Handling is awesome and partly because of the lightweight, extremely rigid 3″ tubular steel chassis that Beck hand builds.  This speedster stops beautifully thanks to front disc brake set up. Wheels and tires look great with plenty of tread life left.. Any future maintenance needed is simple and inexpensive to perform by any experienced air cooled VW mechanic. This car needs nothing but a driver…it is turn key ready to be driven and enjoyed!! Very nice tone from the dual exhaust.  Plenty of storage in the front trunk area and also a spare tire which is rarely found in these replicas. Undercarriage also looks great.  Make sure you listen to the video that follows below to hear it running. This Beck is Titled as a 1956 Porsche Replica

Asking price is $32,500 and I will listen to serious offers. Serious buyers can call me at 770-359-8400. I would be happy to get the next lucky owner a great price on Enclosed Transport anywhere in the country and I also welcome overseas buyers.
