This car is a 1966 Chevelle SS 396 and was built in May of 1966. It was built as a true Super Sport car, "138" in VIN number, and not a clone. It has had a complete frame-off restoration with lot of receipts and documentation and hundreds of photos of the restoration. The body is exceptionally straight with fit and gaps excellent. The restoration was completed by ARC in Gainesville, TX. The color is the original factory Regal Red for 1966 and the paint is excellent. The interior is very clean with no wear and no damage. The car has the factory knee-knocker tach and factory Muncie 4 speed transmission. The engine is a period correct 396 cu. in. 325 HP and has been dyno tested at 383 HP. Dyno test data is available. The Chevelle has Vintage air and period correct Cragar wheels. The car has been garage stored and has not been in rain or inclement weather. The engine rebuild and restoration has less than 1000 miles. The Chevelle consistently places at judged car shows with many Best of Show and Peoples Choice awards. The car runs solid and true and is fun to drive.
