1959 Nash Metropolitan convertible. Very rare find just out of
serious collectors estate. Only 29K actual miles and looks the
part. Nice factory correct colors refinish. Very attractive color
scheme in and out. Comes with death certificate. We bought the best
of the whole collection and saved the best till last which was the
only and more rare being a convertible. Body is awesome straight
with no rust top or bottom nor trunk. Another witness to always
being garaged and maintained and pampered. With newer correct
refinish both bumpers were re-chromed including optional front and
rear bumper guards. Grill and all emblems and headlight and tail
light bezels like new. Factory Continental kit with full rear spare
and new stainless should. Top and boot are also excellent as well
as plastic back windows (also witness to being garaged and low
miles). Original jacks. Factory famous iconic flying lady is like
new (worth $700-$800 on her own). Desirable/handy first year for
rear opening trunk lid. Excellent interior with desirable rear
seat, interior is excellent and original even visors and floor mat
excellent (more witness for low miles). Optional original radio.
Excellent matching radial tires (drives two times better than
factory bias belts). Stock, peppy strong and tight original
detailed motor, stock 3-speed tranny (way better than slow shifting
automatic). Headroom is surprisingly good and even better in a
convertible, I am 6'1" and fit in easily. These sweethearts are so
fun to drive and cruise nicely with highway gears. Really fun
conversation piece, everyone has a 55-57 Chevy. Have the only one
at most any car show. Turnkey and too much fun. Take delivery off
our cheap and fast delivery truck and drive for free because these
are appreciating nicely. Way more fun than money in the bank.
