This stately 1985 GMC Sierra Classic 1500 rolled off the line
loaded with options. It came with regal Midnight Black paint and a
plush burgundy interior that was as comfortable and well-equipped
as most luxury cars. The options are clearly listed on the original
factory service parts ID sticker right where it belongs on the
glove box door. You'll see that air conditioning, cruise, tilt,
power windows and locks, not to mention power steering and heavy
duty power front disc brakes were all original equipment. That
comfy-sofa-like cloth bench seat looks and is as comfortable as
new. This truck was treated to some freshening including a fresh
coat of paint. As you can see, there wasn't a lot of fooling around
here. Black is known for either showing flaws or showing off a
straight body. It's clearly the latter in this case. Chrome bumpers
with front bumper guards and 17 inch American Racing Special
Edition 5-spoke chrome wheels look spectacular against the deep
black finish. A hand painted pin stripe accents the interior color,
and a new tonneau cover gives the truck a finished look. The tried
and true 5.0 liter small block and automatic transmission team up
for a smooth no-nonsense driveline. 3.08 gears offer a nice balance
of performance and practicality. In fact, you could drive this GMC
every day and enjoy practically all the useful amenities of a new
vehicle at a fraction of the investment. Check out the photos and
give us a call. A 1985 GMC Sierra Classic 1500 pickup could be your
next car.
