Vehicle Description
This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS build started as an all original rust
free California car, and it retains all of its original body
panels. The car has been professionally customized into a full
pro-touring driver's car using ultra high end components and an
open wallet build. Updates include a fully modified body tub to
accept a 4 wheel independently suspended Roadster Shop chassis, as
well as a 700+ HP Mast Motorsports LS7 engine and Tremec 6 speed
transmission with a hydraulic clutch. Braking is provided by Brembo
six piston calipers working with cross drilled and slotted 14 inch
rotors. All drive-train components, including the 9 inch
independent Ford rear end, the stainless 3 inch exhaust with Borla
mufflers, and 19x9.5 and 19x12 Forgeline wheels wearing 265/35/19
and 345/30/19 Michelin Pilot Super Sports were built exclusively
for this car. The chassis incorporates Penske double adjustable
coil-over shocks and fully adjustable suspension. Adjustments
include ride height, sway bars and brake bias. The interior has
been fully customized incorporating Alcantera and leather with the
latest technology including power Recaro seats, billet aluminum
pedals, a custom dash full of digital instruments and analog dials.
The center cluster has been modified to accept an Alpine advanced
navigation system and a seamless high end sound system with back-up
camera. Other highlights inside include a completely updated A/C
and heating system, power rack and pinion steering, Nardi steering
wheel, power windows, power door locks, tilt wheel, power trunk and
keyless entry. Other noted highlights include true carbon fiber
inner fenders and an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The
car is currently registered, passes state inspection, and has been
driven over 600 miles since completion with no issues. Photos
before and during the build as well as all receipts and a Dyno
report accompany the car. This 1967 Camaro RS is a fully enjoyable,
comfortable and reliable driver's car for the person who expects
nothing less than perfection. The car has never been shown at car
events, so you can be the first.
