removable roofs.
BODY OVERVIEW: The body is clean and straight and in good
condition. It is showing 93k miles on the odometer so there is some
wear and tear present just from your typical road debris and what
not. The rubber around some of the windows is starting to show its
age and could stand to be replaced.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: This Corvette is wearing its original
rare yellow paint from the factory. Only 650 Corvettes rolled out
of the factory wearing this color. The paint is in good condition
considering its almost 30 years old, its a little faded in some
spots but we do not photoshop our photos here at Shelton Classics
so these photos capture how the paint looks in person.
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The current owner has spent sometime
in the interior and it shows! Right off the bat you'll notice that
an upgraded AM/FM/CD/DVD/Bluetooth touchscreen has been installed
and it looks right at home. The tan leather seats have been
replaced with a more aggressive bucket seats. And seasoned Corvette
purchasers will notice that all the speakers have thankfully been
replaced as they were known to go out very easily.
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Under the hood sits the original L98 LT1 350
V8. The engine fires up easily and runs like it should. The
suspension is tight, no unusual noises can be heard while driving
and the brakes seem to stop very well. The only area that needs a
little attention is the A/C system that currently isn't blowing
cold.
