Vehicle Description
Chrysler only built 503 of these special cars to dominate the
NASCAR circuit in 1969. This R4 Red Dodge Daytona was an early
build, one of those shipped to Hurst Campbell to handcraft and
transform from Chargers into the notorious winged warriors that won
on Sunday and sold on Monday. This has always been a fantastic car
that retains all its original body panels. It's powered by its
matching-numbers 440ci V8 engine and 3-speed automatic
transmission. For this reason, it was meticulously restored. With
multiple accolades, including AACA First Regional award, AACA First
Place National award and MCACN Concours Gold Certification. In
addition, Dave Wise of MMC Detroit recently completed a full
20-page inspection report rating the Daytona amazingly well.
