Vehicle Description
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this incredibly rare 1937
Dodge "Humpback" Truck! The Dodge comes in an immaculate gray paint
job complemented by various graphics and a spotless gray and maroon
interior. Powering this incredible find is a rebuilt 360 cubic inch
V8 motor mated to a smooth shifting automatic transmission.
Upgrades to the 360 include a custom cam, intake, 750 Holley
carburetor, MSD ignition, aluminum roller rockers, full exhaust and
more. Features of the vehicle include power front disc brakes,
power windows, power steering, working heat, A/C and more. A full
restoration is believed to have been completed on the truck based
on its excellent condition. Additionally, the Humpback comes to us
from the collection of a professional engine builder. As such it
has always been properly maintained and stored. If you are lucky
enough to stumble across a 1930s Dodge humpback delivery truck,
consider snagging it up as they are exceedingly rare and you may
not find another. Please call or email us for more information.
In the 1930's open-bed pick-ups were fine for some needs, but a
true delivery vehicles was still needed. Dodge was quick to respond
with its 1930s humpbacks. As the name implies the new design
centered around a rear bubble also known as the humpback. The
humpback cab design allowed for more cargo space and the ability to
transport taller items. Both the rarity and the cool look of these
1930s trucks make them popular and desirable collector's items
today.
