Known History:

Sold new in 1971 in LaGrande, Oregon, which is Central Oregon high desert country.

Sold to a Pontiac collector in Hood River, Oregon in 1998.

This owner stored the car for 10 years in his building full of cars, mostly Pontiacs.

Car was then purchased by my friend Chris in 2008.   He is a fellow GTO enthusiast and restorer.

Car was all-original at this time, and still had the original faded factory paint on a very nice original body.

Chris intended to restore the GTO to keep.  The restoration started in 2009.

Due to re-locating in August 2009 for a new job out of state, he was unable to keep the car, and sold it to me.

Some items were unfinished when I bought car from him in August, 2009.

He had just finished the paint job before he left.  Base-coat / clear-coat,  in correct factory colors.

I let the paint cure for 3 months before buffing & glazing.

The interior is still original, and very dried out from the dry climate in Central Oregon desert country.

The interior needs to be restored.

The car comes with a genuine Legendary interior kit.  It is the best quality & most accurate reproduction upholstery on the market.    Set includes seat upholstery front buckets & rear seat,  all four interior door panels,  arm rests,  arm rest pads, new carpet set,  floor sound deadener,  jute floor pad set,  sill plates, new under-dash insulation, and other interior parts.

Have all NEW BFG Radial TA tires on the car with only a couple hundred miles on the new tires.  (Note: some of the photos show the new BFG Radial TA tires, and some photos don't )

Body on this car is outstanding, VERY nice, straight and original.     No salted roads here, no rust.

Car has all factory original panels, floors, trunk, quarters, fenders, hood, deck lid, etc.

Rear bumper was re-chromed.

New Exhaust tips, new rocker moldings, and new tail lamp lenses,  are reproduction.

All-new 2.25” exhaust.

New front windshield.

All new brakes: pads, calipers, bearings, master cylinder, etc.

Original tire jack & jack stand have been restored, look like new.

All the restoration work done on this GTO was done from 2009-2012

Complete brand-new suspension done in 2012, by Rich Hoke, our local suspension guru.

ALL suspension components front & rear were replaced or rebuilt.

All suspension components Sourced in USA.

Over $5,500 spent on all-new suspension !!

Power steering was upgraded with a brand-new GM Delphi steering box .

This new suspension drives GREAT.

The car has been stored in a nice dry private building, since I purchased it in 2009.

Rarely driven.   I only drive the car couple times per year.

The car also needs the following to be finished:

Car needs a new headliner.

Trim rings seen on the Honeycomb wheels in the photos have "gone missing" while in storage.

Honeycomb wheels should be re-painted for a fresh look.

Reproduction Honeycomb wheel trim rings are available.

Original A/C system is all there, but needs to be gone through.

Driver-side remote mirror needs to be replaced.

This is a great GTO with excellent documentation !

The body, floors, trunk, are all super clean original !

NO rust, car has all-original body!
