1958 CADILLAC FLEETWOOD, DRY DESERT CAR FROM SOUTHERN NEW MEXICO.
The Fleetwood has been stored in the desert just north of the Mexican border for years and probably decades.
The big stainless panel on the left side has been replaced with a 1957 Fleetwood panel. At the moment there's no original hubcaps but they are easy to find.
As you see the paint is sun baked, giving the car a fantastic patina. The body is very good. Also dry interior. Excellent and rust free bumper ends and the gas door mechanism is not broken!
There is a back window included in the sale.
The engine started with no problem but we have not done any additional mechanical work on the Cadillac.
The Cadillac has not been taken apart or messed with and it would be relatively easy to turn the Fleetwood into a very cool running and driving car again after the long storage.
