Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we celebrate our 21st year in the
classic and muscle car business. Here's yet another sexy Sting Ray
from the Texas Hill Country's premier source for classic Corvettes.
Second generation Corvettes (C2; 1963-1967) have been, as a whole,
the most desirable and valuable Corvettes for many years now. Many
people consider the C2 Sting Rays to be the pinnacle of American
post-war automotive styling and they will find no argument here.
Our sinister '65 Sting Ray clearly illustrates this unique styling
and accentuates it with touches like the side mount exhaust,
American Racing alloy wheels, and a big block hood that has a matte
black power bulge which contrasts beautifully with the correct
Tuxedo Black (AA) paint. Beneath said hood is a Chevy 350 ci
aluminum head ZZ4 crate motor that's been fortified with a GMPP
aluminum intake manifold, Edelbrock carburetor, HEI, an aluminum
water pump, and Hedman Hedders. The L79 327 that came out of the
car (BCN 3782870, EC F0402HT, VD 5116111) is included with the
sale. Additional features include independent front and rear
suspension, 4-wheel disc brakes, power steering, air conditioning,
4-speed manual transmission, and new (18 mos.) tires (225/45ZR17 F;
255/45ZR17 R). The correct red interior (407) is in good shape but
does show some wear and fading. If you have never driven a
convertible Sting Ray with side pipes you should edit your bucket
list, grab a hat, and come see why many call it a quasi-religious
experience! Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full service
dealership that can assist with worldwide delivery, insurance, and
financing options.
