This 1971 Nova SS is powered by a 498" Big Block 10.5 to 1 pump gas
runs on 93 octane. It started as a 454 block .70 over by bored ,
decked, honed @Chucks engine. This car has Je/Srp pistons 18cc
dome, Eagle rods and crank, balanced rotating assembly at
Crankshaft Craftsmen, Brodix BbO aluminum heads with comp cams
option, comp cams hydraulic roller made for setup, complete comp
cams valve train set up by comp, Edelbrock rpm air gap intake, pro
form 850 carburetor, mini high torque starter, sfi flywheel, sfi
balancer, hooker super comp headers, 3" custom mandrel bent exhaust
flow master mufflers and exits behind rear tires like it should, 4
row Champion radiator never runs hot, pro built 4l80 4 speed
overdrive transmission by R.Woods, Circle D custom billet lock up
converter, quick 4 transmission control by usshift, custom drive
shaft with big joints and strange yolk by Ann Arbor Driveshaft, new
rear end moser axles, Richmond 3:90 gear, Eaton Truetrack diff,
strange yolk, has girdle on cover, competition engineering traction
bars, frame is tied, has original front discs with upgraded drilled
slotted rotors, power brakes, power steering, entire core wired
professionally with battery in trunk and Ford solenoid, 0ga battery
cable to trunk and starter, custom bolt in 6 point cage by rpm same
ones you see in corvettes and hellcats powder coated to match car
with slide out bars on pins. Wait was 6 mos to get this built and
can come out in a few hours. Will tech at any track to 10.0, drive
shaft loop, all auto meter gauges in white, Cheetah shifter, weld
wheels with Mickey Et radials all around, and pro car buckets with
headrest. 99.9% of the time this car is spent on the road in the
last two years has been to meet for car shows. The current owner
took it to the track last summer didn't lower the air pressure it
was about to rain the car went 11:80 and spun hard. 1.60 60'. On
the freeway in overdrive with the converter locked up it gets 17
miles to the gallon.
