Vehicle Description
Here is an opportunity to purchase a very rare and collectible air
cooled Porsche: a 1984 911 equipped with the M491 "Turbo Look"
option. Only 384 of these unique Porsches were shipped to the U.S.
in 1984. The $11,390 option includes the wide body extended fender
components, the "tea tray" rear spoiler, and brakes and suspension
from the 930 Turbo. The vehicle offered here is a Guards Red coupe
equipped with a black all leather interior, sport seats, automatic
heating control, black roof headliner, alarm system, electric
sliding sunroof and the M491 performance body/chassis package. It
was purchased by the current owner in 2012 at 61,285 miles, and has
been driven only 3,260 miles since. The car is powered by its
original 3.2 liter flat six cylinder SOHC, fuel injected air cooled
engine producing 228 horsepower and 209 ft.-.lb of torque connected
to a 915 five speed gear box. It will accelerate from 0 to 60 mph
in 5.6 seconds, and has a top speed of 153 mph. The only
modifications from stock include a 930 Turbo steering wheel
(original wheel included), a Sony radio installed by a previous
owner, and later model Porsche Turbo wheels. This Porsche is in
extremely good condition. The paint is excellent, with only two
small chips observed and no evidence of rust. The interior is in
very good condition with the patina expected from an unrestored
thirty five year old car. With the exception of one faulty oil
gauge, everything works, including the air conditioner. The car
recently had a CV boot, gasket and half shaft replaced, as well as
new Michelin Pilot Sport tires installed. The car has a clean
Carfax and runs and drives as it should. Service records, books,
the original steering wheel, three sets of keys, a car cover, the
original window sticker, and an uninstalled sound deadening mat
come with the car. Please Note The Following **Vehicle Location is
