Vehicle Description
This 1982 Suburban C10/C20 Silverado is from Arizona, so it has no
rust of any kind. Its clean throughout, straight, reliable and
mechanically sound. The current owner made the 2000 mile trip
between MI and AZ 7 times trouble free in recent years, and would
trust it to do it again. He knows over 20 years of its history. It
went from a daily driving family hauling boat pulling road trip
vehicle to an exclusive travelling and occasional trailering
vehicle. If overlanding or road trips are your thing, and you need
lots of space, this is your vehicle. It will take you to work, grab
the groceries, pick up your bags of cement or wood, haul the family
and friends, tow your car to the car show or even go itself,
provide a place to live, etc. It is quite the multi-purpose
vehicle. It comes equipped with the 700r4 auto/overdrive
transmission and 350/5.7 V8 in Silverado trim (which was the
highest at the time), a 40 gallon fuel tank, true dual exhaust,
seating for 9, power windows and locks, 2-way car alarm, power
sliding tailgate window, 'Trailering Special' package, front and
rear air conditioning, separate rear air conditioning motor and
condenser that blows on the back of your neck, pull out third row
bench seat with fold down second row and position-adjustable first
row seating. It was restored a few years back. During that time,
all worn or showing wear items were replaced with high quality name
brand replacement parts. All important stuff was done
professionally. Aside from its wonderful paint job on the interior,
exterior and engine bay, it got C20 suspension, heavy duty
adjustable valve shocks and brakes, Detroit Truetrac rear end with
Richmond Gears, a whole bunch of sound and heat insulation,
rearview Wink mirror, refreshed interior pieces, new carpet and
dash, weatherstripping, door lock actuators and window motors,
onboard air compressor for semi truck air horns/air tools/tire
inflation, a 400watt 110v power inverter where the ashtray would
typically reside.
