1936 FORD PICKUP MODEL 67 T-1292 Presented here is a 1936 Ford Pickup Model 67 Custom Built, Steel body, Fiberglass Fendered Resto-Mod. Built using a tubular frame design. A rebuilt Chevrolet 350ci V8 engine w/ mild Cam from a Z28 Camaro has been fitted and only 500 miles have been put on it since installation. A TH350 Automatic Transmission was reportedly pulled and installed from the same Z28. It is attached to a B&M floor shifter. The 9 inch Ford rear-end has also been rebuilt and geared for easy freeway driving. This Ford will cruise the freeway going 60 MPH at an easy 2,000 RPM. The engine and rear-end were both rebuilt in the summer of 2019. For added stability, a Camaro front clip has been installed, making the comforts of power steering, power brakes and Air Conditioning attainable. New Front Discs and Rear Drums have been installed. The exterior of the truck is finished in a custom blue flame paint job on a base coat of purple. The oak wood bed is concealed by a custom made Gaylord tonneau cover painted to match the truck. New door locks and new voltage regulator have been installed. The custom interior features grey vinyl seats that have been modified to accommodate drivers over 6 feet tall. The door panels, dash, headliner and carpet are colored to complement the exterior. A custom center console has been installed that features two ignition cutoff switches, for added security. As, this truck is equipped with power windows, the switches are located here. Additionally, a manual switch for the automatic electric fan has been installed as well. Other features include Air Conditioning, tilt steering column, Grant GT steering wheel, modern stereo system, Vintage style Stewart Warner gauges, Sunpro column mounted Tachometer, and battery cutoff switch. It still has the crank out windshield!
