For Sale at Auction: 1947 Oldsmobile Custom in Raleigh, North Carolina
This rare fastback model has a 100% original interior, engine
compartment and trunk compartment. Its original 1947 license plate
is still in the trunk from when the car was new 72 years ago. The
factory equipment includes hydromatic transmission, push button AM
radio, turn signals, clock, heater, chrome wheel beauty rings, twin
exterior rear view mirrors, wide white wall tires and back up
lights. Vehicle was owned by the same lady for 56 years. She left
it in her will to the service station owner who had maintained it
for her since new. When he died he left it to his daughter who sold
it. When the current owner purchased this beauty in 2009 it had
just 8,776 actual miles and has been driven very minimally since.
However due to the age of the vehicle the title reads exempt.
Performs absolutely like you would expect of a low mileage,
original vehicle. This example is probably the best to be found in
the world.
