Vehicle Description
This is a one-of-kind show-quality Jeep CJ5 with a true frame-off
restoration; every piece has been replaced, painted, powder-coated
or chromed. Every nut and bolt has been upgraded, and the build is
in brand-new condition. This Jeep is running a Chevy 350ci V8
engine featuring a COMP cam, Edelbrock Performer manifold, polished
Moroso fabricated valve covers, Demon carburetor, K&N filter
with matching top, March billet aluminum pullies, Holley electric
fuel pump, billet distributor and black 8mm Taylor plug wires. The
engine exhales via Block Hugger headers with Flowmaster dual
exhaust. It also features Lokar billet braided dipsticks and an
aluminum 140-amp alternator. A Be Cool aluminum radiator with a
polished catch can and a Flex-A-Lite electric fan help keep the
engine cool. The engine is paired to a Turbo 350 3-speed automatic
transmission with a Hurst Quarter Stick shifter, 2500 stall
Advanced Adapters transfer case, polished aluminum transmission
cooler, braided lines and 4:56 Richmond gears. The driveline
features one-piece axles, Dana 35 front with an Auburn limited-slip
locker, 20 rear with Auburn limited-slip locker and polished finned
aluminum differential covers. It features WARN premium hubs, Pro
Comp 4-inch lift, Pro Comp aluminum reservoir shocks, braided brake
lines, CV rear driveline, chrome Currie tie rod and steering,
chrome Currie sway bar and a yellow Daystar bushing kit. Each leaf
spring was pulled apart and reassembled to achieve this spectacular
build, and the suspension was powder-coated. The 1983 CJ5 has a
steel body with a smooth back without a tailgate. It's finished in
a base coat/clear coat PS2 Silver and has Hella headlights with
PIAA bulbs, polished Pontiac glass taillights and Extreme White
clear turn signal lamps. It features a soft Bestop Supertop, Bestop
doors Bestop bikini cover, polished aluminum gas tank and a
polished aluminum gas filler. The interior features Tenzo R racing
seats, RCI 5-point 3-inch harness, polished custom seat brackets,
black Auto Custom Carpets, Dynomat insulation, custom aluminum
dash, AutoMeter gauges and black Pro-Comp with Monster Tachometer
and shift light. It includes speedo, liquid filled water, oil,
electric, fuel and volt gauges. The interior is highlighted with a
tilt steering column and a Grant polished steering wheel. It
features power steering, power brakes and rides on 15x10 Weld Super
Singles wheels wrapped in 36x14.50" R15 Super Swamper TSL radial
tires. This CJ5 has 181 miles on its build.
