The BMW Z3 was debuted in the James Bond movie, Golden Eye. The ’96 car that was actually filmed had a far less powerful 4 cylinder engine, skimpy hips, and in the less popular blue color with tan interior that soon shows dirt. However, the car in the movie actually looks silver at first glance. This is a naturally aspirated sports car, which are no longer manufactured. They offered high responsiveness and made repairs less likely than today’s recent move to turbo engines. This is a low-use car that is poised to enjoy a future as a long-lived Z3 classic.
