1970 442 W-30 was Old's top dog muscle car and the 4-speed examples
are the most sought after. This one has a copy of the original
window sticker and tell tale signs of it being a real W-30. Not to
mention it is hot looking! The colors, big scoops, wing, stripes
make this the Lamborghini of muscle cars. This car feels
right-windows roll smooth, clutch is good, doors shut nice etc.
EXTERIOR: The car presents itself incredibly well. Flashy, glossy,
sits proud. The body is really straight. I felt all along the
bottoms and there are no bubbles. The panels fit square and flush.
The ram air hood even fits flush. There are no cracks on the
scoops. Paint is polished glossy. Actually they polished the roof a
bit too much and rubbed through. It's not noticeable unless you
look for it. Jambs are painted nice. W-30 stripes are correctly
painted on. The sport mirrors are 1970 only. Has rear spoiler.
Bottom door lip is clean. Chrome is excellent. Upfront the hood
trim, headlight bezels, bumper, emblem and grills are excellent. In
back the bumper is rechromed. New weatherstrips. The wheels are
restored, new center caps and trim rings. BFG tires look new.
INTERIOR: Inside is not new but very good, unabused condition.
Headliner is in excellent shape, so are the visors. Mirror is
clear, dome light works. The door panels are very nice, straight
and unabused. Upholstery also not new but no issues, very good.
Carpet is new, has reproduction Oldsmobile floor mats. The dash
area is nice. It has factory tic toc tachometer, factory Am-Fm
radio. There are 2 aftermarket gauges mounted to the dash. Has a
factory 4-speed console and a sport wheel.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Has a correct 455 with rare W-30 F heads and
W-455 aluminum intake. Has correct air induction air cleaner with
working flapper door. The red inner fenders used only on W-30s are
original on this car, not reproduction. W-30 4-speed cars all had
manual brakes. A brake booster would not work with the lack of
vacuum because of the performance cam. The bottom of the hood has
the "chicken wire" screen. Everything is cleaned up, painted and
proper- master cylinder, wiper motor, power steering pump,
brackets, hinges etc.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Appears to be original clean metal. No patches,
no splices. 1/4s look original. Has a clean coat of spatter paint.
Bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are painted glossy red. It
does have new decals, weatherstrip and trunk mat. Has a matching
rally wheel for a spare. Has jack assembly.
UNDERSIDE: Front end is rebuilt and painted black. Bottom of the
motor is clean, starter looks new. The M-21 Muncie 4-speed looks
spotless. Has 12 bolt rear. It has Rally suspension which includes
sway bars and boxed control arms. New exhaust system with correct
trumpet tips going through the bumper. New fuel tank. Floors,
braces, rockers are clean metal. It has been cleaned and painted
black.
The all #s matching certified 1970 W-30s with 4-speeds regularly
sell from $100,000 to $135,000. Recently one brought $225,500! This
is a sexy, clean, rare and desirable car.

professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure

a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
