MOVING SALE PRICE $9,995.00 .. .... ...1961 Volkswagen Bug DGC0533.
Vin. 3630533. 40 HP 4 cylinder 4 -Speed. Interesting history. This
car was purchased in Germany by an USAF officer who shipped it home
after his tour of duty. Two Ohio collectors owned it and it had
57,400 miles. It was sold in 2006 with 59,050 miles to someone in
Olympia, Wa. where it has lived 'til we bought it with 62,175
miles. I liked it so I bought it. It's not perfect. Has some rust
bubbles. The underside has rust. Check out the photos. It runs and
drives great. This beetle has lots of character with all of it's
accessories, which include a roof rack, bumper guards, headlight
eyebrows. What sets it off the most are the wide whitewall tires
against the black body. The red seats are in great condition. The
back seat needs to be restitched. Another interesting thing, it has
a gas heater. It's not hooked up now. Big bag of books, manuals,
documentation and receipts. Andrew will tell you it's a great
driving car he has had fun driving it. Yes, it is a bit of a
project, but you can drive it and get thumbs up!
