Vehicle Description
If this vintage 1975 Ford Bronco were being marketed by Ford today,
they'd probably call this one the Midnight Edition. So while this
might be a lifted machine with go-anywhere 4x4 ability, it's
sinister dark look inside and out makes this convertible SUV also a
great one for distinctive driving in-town, too.
This Bronco has an undeniable style. That black paint is an
upgraded modern clearcoat application with plenty of gloss to
radiate in the sunshine. So this one looks great when you take the
removable hardtop off an have some sunny day fun. Then again, with
the roof done in a matte back and tinted windows, there's a whole
new dynamic in place as this one look like it's part of a black ops
team. These are two opposite, but attractive, personalities you can
choose to put forward, and it's all courtesy of the details. Just
about everything on this is done to match the black paint,
including the fender flares, grille, bumpers, and 15-inch wheels
(there's also a kit for a rear-mounted full-size spare if so
desired.) All this darkness also makes the headlights truly look
like glowing eyes.
The full blackout package includes the interior. Broncos have
bucket seats that look like they came from a first-gen Mustang so
they are both attractive and comfortable. The door panels,
carpeting, and rear seats are also clean and attractive. While it
looks like the investments in this one were about keeping it
vintage, there are also some nice upgrades. The three-spoke sports
steering wheel feels grippy in your hands. Plus, the AM/FM stereo
with USB input and Bluetooth means easily getting your favorite
driving music.
Under the hood is proper Ford power. The 302 cubic-inch V8 is a
great blue oval motor, and this one really showcases that by
letting the blue block, valve covers, and air topper all radiate
from this total darkness Bronco. The motor was given a thorough
service by Forge Speed, so it's a strong runner. That makes a good
pairing with the two-speed 4x4 transfer case, lifted stance, and
Cooper Discoverer tires to give this Bronco true off-road ability.
But even when you feel like just cruising the urban jungle, this
one obliges with easy driving features like the three-speed
automatic transmission, power steering, and front disc brakes.
This is the Bronco that looks mean on the outside, but it's
absolutely nice to be behind the wheel. It makes for an
irresistible total package you need to get your hands on right
now.
