GTO Judge returned for 1970 with 168 convertibles and 3,629 hardtop
coupes produced, amounting to less than 10 per cent of total GTO
production that year. Equipped with the 400 CI Ram Air III V-8
engine packing 366 factory-rated horsepower, The Judge option
package included wild multi-color fender stripes, a full-width
pedestal rear wing, psychedelic "The Judge" identification decals
and badges, plus Silver-painted Rally II wheels without the usual
bright trim rings. A cheeky anti-establishment statement on wheels
inspired by the hit TV comedy show Laugh In, the Judge poked fun at
all established muscle car clichs in one stroke. A 1970 Judge also
nearly stole the show in the cult classic movie Two Lane Blacktop,
with Judge driver Warren Oates character was simply "GTO."

Cardinal Red 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge was delivered to Quality
Motors, Inc. in Florence, South Carolina. In addition to its Option
