Vehicle Description
This no-expense-spared 1969 Chevrolet C10 short-bed Pro-Touring
pickup with a 1967 front clip, was built for SEMA and was the
winner of a Builder Build-Off competition. It's powered by a 383ci
V8 stroker engine with dual FiTech fuel injection mated to a 700R4
4-speed automatic transmission. The truck sits on an Air Lift
Performance air-ride suspension with U.S. Mags wheels. The
completely modified chassis is powder-coated with a custom
powder-coated exhaust system, Black Widow mufflers and CPP big
brakes all the way around. The exterior modifications include
shaved drip rails and cowl, recontoured roof, sub-floored bed and
smoothed-out the firewall. The pillars are smoothed out to enhance
the flush-mount glass, and a Camaro-style front splitter and rear
spoiler were installed to give it a Pro-Touring look. The doors
have Kindig handles with a TEEG manufacturing door latch system and
Brothers customs one-piece power windows. The interior of the cab
has been tastefully wrapped in Italian leather with German
square-weave carpet and a custom bench seat. Behind the seat sits a
1100-watt Rockford Fosgate stereo system. This truck has been on
Street Truck magazine, Hot Rod magazine and Trucking magazine.
