Please visit www.Survivor-Cars.com for additional photos,
information and a video. This big block, two top 1970 Chevrolet
Corvette Stingray is a sight to behold! That's right, it has both a
removable hard top, and a soft top. The hard top is wrapped in
black vinyl and comes with a stand for storage when it's not in
use. But, let's talk about why you're really here. The 390
horsepower, 500 lb ft of torque big block 454 CID V8 engine that is
shoehorned into that engine compartment. What makes that even more
fun is that it's backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. That
keeps you in control of that power and you can drag out that shift
for as long as you need! The exterior is Cortez Silver that shows
well and compliments the rally wheels nicely. The interior is the
original Dark Green vinyl that has remained almost completely
untouched since 1970. This car comes with the original
Protecto-O-Plate and the original 1970 title where it was purchased
from Carter Chevrolet in Manchester Connecticut. The engine is
numbers matching and the numbers are in the photos. This car is
very rare and collectible. Being one of only 6,648 total
convertibles produced in 1970 is rare enough. Of those only 2,556
came with a hardtop, and only 832 of those were vinyl wrapped! This
car embodies both the quintessential sports car and everything
muscle cars are all about. It is all wrapped into a stunning
package of flowing curves, sharp lines and chrome that come
together flawlessly. This car would be right at home in any
collection, or at local car shows and cruises. This vehicle is
